The Rambagh Palace has been home to
generations of royals. The Rambagh Palace,
fondly nicknamed 'Jewel of Jaipur', has
housed generations of Rajput royality until
1957, when it got converted to luxury hotel
by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. The theme
rooms, historical suites, royal suites that
used to be once personal chambers of the
once kings, grand royal suite (includes
Maharani Suite which was built as a surprise
gift to Maharani Gayatri Devi and the
Prince's suite), grand Presidential suite (Suryavanshi
Suite) with its dining hall - are some of
the palatial specials, all done in rich silk
drapes and warm colors, reminiscent of
Rajputana royalty.
In the finest tradition of Rajput
hospitality, the Rambagh Palace offers its
guests a taste of royal living – a luxury
and extravagance that was once the sole
preserve of kings. Guests relive the
Rajputana era in refined and restored rooms,
each offering a distinct experience in
princely living.
