Nestled among the Arravalis, Sariska is the
closest place from Delhi where one can hope
to see a tiger in it's natural surroundings.
Once the hunting grounds of the Maharajas,
Sariska was made into a forest reserve in
1955 and declared a national park in 1982.
The Sariska Palace has now been converted
into a heritage hotel with all the modern
amenities like swimming pool, huge lawns to
relax etc.
HOW TO REACH
Conveniently located 199 kms. from Delhi and
120 kms from Jaipur, Sariska Palace is today
a Palace Hotel with all the amenities to
make the guest feel like a maharajah. Each
room is richly furnished with original Louis
Quartz and art deco furniture. The terrace
overlooking the virgin forests with its deer
herds, wild boar and a variety of birds can
be an unforgettable experience.
Across the well-maintained palace lawns, it
is quite normal to see peacocks stroll by
lazily. The hotel can arrange jeep safaris
to the nearby interesting places. Among the
other facilities are tennis court, a viewing
pavilion, and conference hall.
Sariska is 200 km from Delhi by road ( 3
hours ). The closest railway station is
Alwar. Jaipur is a 2 hour drive from Sariska.
