HOW TO REACH
BY AIR
Bagdogra is the nearest airport to Darjeeling.
Many LCC’s and main flights connect Bagdogra to
the rest of the country on a daily basis.
Gangtok does not have a airport. The nearest
airport is Siliguri. there is a regular
helicopter service from Bagdogra to Gangtok.
BY RAIL
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway connects New
Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. This journey takes
about 7 to 8 hours.
The nearest railhead to Gangtok is Siliguri,
which links Gangtok to various other Indian
cities.
BY ROAD
Darjeeling can be reached via New Jalpaiguri,
offering breathtaking views.
The Gangtok-Siliguri road is one of the busiest
in this sector and connects Gangtok to the other
cities.
